Gratuitous pictures of my cake, which Emily really seemed to like, and I was pretty pleased with, especially since I'd never worked with gum paste before. Or really any kind of sculpture. The cakes on that site are really good. (The good ones anyway, not the bizarre ones.) I think I need a li'l more practice before I'm that good. Those cakes gave me some great ideas though. It was really fun making that cake too. All I wanna do right now is make more.

CakeWrecks is really just for professional and store-bought cakes, though.

HOWEVER

I think we can all agree that all of this means you need to declare yourself pro like that 17-year-old girl did and THEN submit your shit there, because you will die of business. And there really aren't many other things you should want to die from.

You clearly deserve more than gas money! I really think you should look into this as a hustle.

Emily looks NOTHING like I expected her to.

I can't even begin to explain to you what I was expecting. I guess something more like Lydia from Beetlejuice. The cartoon version.

She looked a lot more edgy when she was thinner and wasn't pregnancy-glowing. Also, she was kind of dressed fancy with more neutral make-up because there was all this family and grand-parents and whatnot there.

I would really love to do this as a business (even just for some pocket-change, you know?), but I'm so completely not business-minded. I wouldn't even know how to begin. I need someone who wants a business, but doesn't know what to sell to come and take care of me, since I'm a person with something to sell and no idea how to sell it.
