Random Fact #17 - I love cars

My favourite car brand is Mazda. And this will always be my first choice in cars. Unless I’ll get a job where I’ll get a company car, of course. But well. Company cars don’t count. *g*

If I have to buy one myself, it will definitely be a Mazda. Because they are awesome to drive, super comfortable, look small but are huuuuuge inside and have just the right balance of functionality and style. They look really pretty.

I owned two Mazda already. An old 121 cabriole which was called “Yoshi” by all of my friends, because it looks like the Mario Yoshi. After that, I had a Mazda Premacy that I bought off of my uncle, because he didn’t want or need such a huge car anymore.

But even apart from Mazda, I’m a car nerd. I like to be up to date about new releases, market developments, newest technology, gadgets, pricing, price developments, all the technical stuff. We live next to a - SURPRISE - Mazda retailer and sometimes, the woman who owns the store (she’s a friend of my grandma’s) gives me All The Information Brochures, so I can nerd away. She also sometimes allows us to go on test drives even though she knows we won’t be buying. But she knows that eventually, we’ll come back for a new car. *g*

And if I ever earn really a shitload of money, I’ll get a Mazda AND a Mustang cabriole for weekend cruising. I also need to drive a Mustang at least once. I really do.
