Bigest fucking pet peeve

That seems so common, that most people don't think twice and maybe they shouldn't but I'm annoyed anyway.

Don't even fucking try to say you can't, because you can, it might not be feasible, plausible, desirable or w/e. But the fact is we all make choices, often choices which serve our own best interest. Which is fine and cool, heck if people never looked out for themselves, we'd all die out. I'm fine with someone choosing themselves over me or anything else. I'm fine with hearing all the reasons for, chances are they are good ones and I'll agree with them. But don't even try to say "it just wasn't possible" "I had no way" "it couldn't be done". Because that's bull, and you know it.

Even it wasn't/wouldn't be reasonable is preferable to this shit. And maybe it would have been stupid to drop everything, ignore your own life and problems to do something, but don't try and pretend the option to do it wasn't there. Yes, you made the logical decision, yes it would have been a hassle to drop everything and come down, yes you have other commitment. I am not attacking your reasoning or even your final decision, but at least give me the curtsy of admitting the option to do it was there.

Heck, if given the chance or things were different, it is very likely I would have chosen the same as you, but don't try and pretend I wasn't one of your options, because I was.

So friends, although it is a common dialectic procedure to say "I couldn't" " there was not way" don't fucking do it. I could but I won't, because of ____________ OR I would but ___________ OR pretty much anything else. I'm sure I'm guilty of this too, but sometimes it just gets under my skin.

So although I get all your reasons, and accept/agree with your choices/actions, don't say you can't or couldn't or it just wasn't possible because it fucking was, it just may not have been profitable.

love you but, friends, pet peeve, convo, rl, trent
