Sad day
S died sometime last night, leaving his buddy all alone. If you've never seen a depressed turkey, it is a very sad sight. He was on the counter this morning under a few towels and we said our goodbyes. I also found Zee in the freezer, he was euthanised last night as his leg problems were causing him to much stress.
Also Samantha my house mate left today. Which is sucky, as she was super awesome. But to try and remember the positive today, Alison last night told me she had my soul mate on the phone, and then promptly pushed the phone on me. So we had some fun with Alex her ex boyfriend (and my apparent soul mate). So this has been the running joke all day, as Alison is still now telling me how perfect we are for each other. Apparently I move my hands like him too..... She is still going on. Man she really wants to sell me on him.
Visited my little girl today and spent 20 minutes with a belly rub, she is so sweet. She was hidding in the hay this morning in her little nest, sooo cute. Also spent more time with my little girl (tiny black kitten) and the others, even took her for a trip outdoors. They all getting along a little better which is great.
Today we did weekly task, scrubbing all the barns and refilling grits for the birds. The female turkeys are so sweet, they were all cooing and so excited to see me walk in with a bucket and to just have all the little and big birds following you around. So sweet.
We also chilled with the goats and cleaned the goat barn bathroom. The little guys were playing around bucking heads.
