Woah
Okay, I know it's been a really long time since I last updated, not that that even matters. I basically just remembered that I still had a Livejournal because I'm avoiding a chemistry question on the titration of human plasma to determine blood alcohol levels. Yeah, I'm not even kidding.
I've been at Case Western Reserve University for nearly six weeks now. I like it here but I miss real food and lots of manual labour, lol, sadly I am, in fact, serious about that. My roommate, Xiaoxiao (she's from China) is awesome. I live on, what is probably, the most cohesive floor in all of Case, so it's a lot of fun. I love the fact that everyone (with very very very very few exceptions) is amazingly smart.
We have so many hot guys on my floor, as well as many of our second floor "adoptees," that is, they spend more time on our floor than their own. I'd name names, but that would be superflulous due to the fact that none of you know them, and if you did, that'd be sort of embarassing. *Oo, one just walked past my window while going over to Leutner "loit-ner" our dining hall.* So many of the buildings' names here are not pronounced the way they're spelled, it's weird.
I'm hating a lot of my classes, because they seem so remedial, like chemistry, I learned this stuff in ninth grade, but I absolutely love my Cognitive Science 102 class!
I'm a cheerleader here, or, at least I was, I broke my foot last Saturday at the football game against Kenyon when I came out of a stunt, yeah, I'm a flier here. Hopefully it heals quickly enough that I can get back into cheer before Homecoming, because that'd be pretty lame if it weren't healed by then.
I apologize for the the incongruence of my post, I'm running on about 5 hours of sleep since Thursday, damn all of the partiers and my need to make sure they're going to be okay before I can go to bed, BAH. *This is how weird my school is, we're all nerds so they try to shed the image by "partying," but once they're drunk, ethy become nerdier, e.g. one becomes an aeroditic spelling bee champ when he's trashed, another acts like a pre-schooler, and a chick references the Godfather movies, yeah, not nerds at all, are they?*
Anyway, I'll get back to my homework, because we get a heavier, more challenging workload than MIT, fuck you, MIT, I went to a better school!
Oh and for those who don't know or do care, my majors are chemsitry and cognitive science, and I'm thinking of concentrating pre-med, but I'm not sure yet.
