life is wonderful. i am thoroughly enjoying it right now.
i've been volunteering at gulf breeze middle school... and i am absolutely head over heels in love with the library there. i want to be a librarian now. :D so that means i will have to get a masters in library information science or something. which probably won't be too hard. and i will get summers off.. and responsibility will be low.
i presented some of my research on driving at a conference last week. the hotel situation was a nightmare. but matthew and i drove up A1A on the way back and it was gorgeous. it cheered me up and made me forget all about my fear of public speaking and how stressed out i was to talk about research in front of a panel of "experts".
on the way home, we stopped and picked up chloe - our new himalayan kitteh. she's soo sweet and snuggly... but still has tons of bitchy attitude and acts like she owns our apartment. we're taking her this weekend to get a lion cut to eliminate some of her shedding. she's going to look like such a cunt. poor kitty.
