I have a Jeep Wrangler. I love it, but the gas is killing me, and I'm going to be replacing it with a Mini next year. The thing is, it's really useful for trips to Home Depot, doing yard work, hauling firewood, etc so I don't really want to give it up. But this being Massachusetts, in order to keep it on the road, I've got to insure it. And the best my company can offer me is $1200 a year- which is nuts for a car I'll drive maybe 15 days a year. They offer a low mileage discount, but you have to pay full price for a year until you've proven you drive under the limit, THEN they grant you the discount. And even then, its only 15% off.
Does anyone know of any other deals or insurance companies that have a deal for very-low-mileage vehicles in MA?
