A good friend of mine lives in Allston, and he has a new roomie. The new guy is 18 and a freshman at BU. He has been parking his car on Comm Ave since he moved in on Monday. This morning he walked out to his car, the first time since moving in, and he was shocked, SHOCKED I say, to find that his iPod, radio and GPS were all stolen from his car. He ran back to the apartment and told his roomies what happened. They were all very upset on his behalf. Then one of them asked him how the thief got in. As it turns out, the kid from Kansas left his doors unlocked and everything in plain sight because that is the way he "does things at home."
