Hey. You are not pathetic! Nobody can live up to their parent's ideals. And it doesnt help when you are such a good daughter, they take advantage of the fact. I know. It's like your just expected to be perfect, no matter how screwed up they are. Try not to be so bothered by it. In a few years, hopefully, you'll be living on your own and wont have to deal with them and their ideal all the time. Its someting to look forward to, :D

you might not want to hear this, but can I just say that I know exactly how you feel? when things at home aren't right, then nothing is. and it's pathetic, but the people who are the worst at dealing with pain are usually the parents. you are definitely a strong person and a good one too, despite what you may think right now.
