Fun weekend!...

Friday afternoon we picked the kids up.  Very excited to have them for the rest of the month.  Then Melanie and I took the boys up to D&D's.  They were headed off on a boys only trip to Castellan.

After we put them on the road, Mel and I went to TGIFriday's for dinner.  We had a fantastic server.  I really like servers who have fun with their tables.  We had plenty of ketchup!  I think we ended up with 4 or 5 bottles on the table.  Even the manager came over to see if we were being well taken care of.

Saturday we got up and going bright and early.  I had planned on making it down to Perth St. to the fabric district.  I have some more clothes I want to make for the kids and needed more fabric.  There is nothing worse than trying to shop in those warehouses in the summer when it is too warm (most aren't air conditioned at all).  I think we were at Golden D'Or by 9:20.  Bought as much as I was interested in buying there (I generally don't like that store) then headed over to my usual place.  Got a WHOLE lot more.  Stuck our head in 2 more places and then cut out.

We ended up swinging by T&R's.  T was home all day with the kids.  Wasn't planning on it, but as the Little Bit had her bottle and fell promptly asleep on my shoulder, I couldn't say no to staying with her while T took the boy to his swimming test.

Then Mel and I hit one of my favorite Chinese buffets for dinner (Clint doesn't like Chinese food so its few and far between I get to indulge).  We stuffed ourself silly on lo mein noodles.  Then went home and I pretty much crashed from the massive carb intake.

Sunday was kind of a lazy day.  I spent the whole morning serging the edges of my purchases from the previous day so I can wash everything this week and start cutting.  Picked the boys up about 4:00.  Clint won the meat grinder at Castellan.  He had the most fights of everyone there.  I was very proud of my honey!

Home Sunday night and bed early (slept like poo while Clint was gone) rounded out my weekend.

This weekend its Kings College.  Lots of fun classes and learing.  SO excited!
