Looks like I get a vacation!...
The powers that be at work have decided that rather than trying to stay open when my boss goes on vacation and having everything be a mess when she comes back, they are going to close the plant for the week she's gone.
The lack of revenue will be a little inconvenient. However, the week we're closed will be the first week my mom is in town. In fact, between the plant closing and July 3rd being the paid holiday, I'm going to be off work starting 7/3 and don't have to be back in until 7/13.
I'm ecstatic! Most people are rather annoyed but I could use the down time, and the timing could not be more perfect. I will have enough time to get more clothes sewn for Clint and the kids BEFORE the crush of fall tourney season. Plus...a week of hang time with my mom.
I've already told Clint he'll need to really sweet talk me to get me to go back to work that next Monday.
