1. Uh, yeah. I'm
azurejay over there. I nabbed
andchimeras as well, and will probably use that for posting fic (because it's the name of my fic site and has been for like seven years! If you didn't know!), etc. I don't know. I tried the writing journal thing once, and it kind of didn't work out at all, but we'll see!
2. There's play-off hockey in town again tonight, and I drive a bus right past the bloody arena. This is going to be amaaaazing. (Hopefully most people will take the SkyTrain, 'cause there's a station across the street from GM Place, but still. Still. The nu yuppies in Yaletown are going to take the bus. Or drive their BMW/Acura/Infiniti/Cadillac/Mercedes SUVs four blocks and pay twenty dollars for parking. Because they're nu yuppies, hello.)
3. Yesterday I refused to let a guy on outside of a stop, and he took a picture of me and the bus, which means he's probably going to think really seriously about making a complaint. I always get nervous about stuff like that, even though I know I didn't do anything wrong (and 85% of complaints received by Customer Service never make it past Customer Service...don't stop complaining about bad drivers, bad routes, etc., though! It's important!). Ugh. I've been traumatized by getting fired and rehired in my first four months on the job. I should sue.
4. Wolverine was pretty good (unf, Hugh Jackman, unf, Liev Schreiber), but it was very, very prequelish. And some of the CGI was really bad. And while I appreciate the classic look of green/bluescreen, you can't really intersperse it with fully-rendered digital landscapes of apocalyptic whateverness, okay? It just doesn't work. Also! The girlfriend made me really mad in my racefail place. And there were continuity errors out the wazoo. Not comics canon errors, obviously, but errors within the movie itself. Those drive me nuts, especially when I notice them the first time I see it. Anyway. I liked it, I'd watch it again, but I'm a born complainer. (Who has good brothers.)
5. Next few weeks are for Star Trek (!!!) and Angels & Demons (I'm actually excited, I don't know. Tom Hanks's hair is hypnotic). And then new Potterfilm in July! Yaaaaay!
6. I'm looking forward to having some baked spaghetti and meatballs or baked lasagna at bio brother's big party tonight. No beer, though, 'cause I gots to DM later on.
That is all! Have a pleasant day!
