It's disheartening to see how horrible people can be, especially in this whole situation with Yunho. I can see the existence of groups of people hating on a band and creating anti groups and all, since there are so many for American pop stars, but I cannot believe how far this one girl went (Obviously, I DO NOT support these groups it's just there are so many here for US pop stars that it's not hard to believe they exist for Korean stars too). Also, security? Was this just not thought out more carefully? To be honest though, I just feel bad since it seems like Yunho was just too trusting for his own good at the time. It's stil unclear to me whether he read the note before or after, but in either case, some stupid bitch is walking away scot free while Yunho is in the hospital.
It doesn't matter if you didn't intend them for them to drink it--you caused harm and you should take responsibility. I'm not sure of the correct teminology--second degree attempted assault? Jesus. Is she not going to get any punishment at all? She should at least have to do some form of public service like picking up trash at highways or something, though that obviously would not suffice for what she's caused. In either case, I'm sure DBSK fans in Korea will hunt her down.
On a slightly more lighter note, DBSK was probably one of the first pop bands I've really liked...I usually don't like pop all that much as there are a lot of acts out there that really can't handle the dancing and singing together (especially live). Yet DBSK is one of the few groups who has the endurance, stamina, and perseverance to do this and who has so much talent and passion in their performances. Despite the vigorous dancing, they can still sing live well--and some acts can't even do that all the time, even without the dancing. They've grown, developed other aspects, and opened up...branching out into other things and be more appealing. I might be in the minority as I'm a fan over 20 , but they're so talented that it doesn't matter at all. It's funny, because they're probably one of the few pop bands I respect also (and not just like their music). Their drive, their work ethic, and how much they do despite not getting paid all that much (I didn't realize that for almost all large, commercial, pop musicians, they often get paid last so they often don't make as much money as one would assume).
A lot of my friends my age and older would cringe a little if I said I liked a pop band. But DBSK is not your typical pop band. Though pop bands always has this image of beautiful, over produced, not really talented musicians making lots of money, DBSK has the skills and charisma and talent to make it unique and amazing. I guess I realized just how much I really respect them, and how much I want Yunho to get better and for all of them to just be together again. I wish I could show them how many international fans are out there too, supporting them and hoping all the best for them all...though I only know English and Japanese so I probably wouldn't be able to express what I'm feeling right now (I've started teaching myself some Korean though).
*sigh* I do hope things get better. 頑張って!I wish there were some online thing we could all sign to show support, since they're probably screening any mail and packages...
