I'm really sorry about what happened to your grandpa Julie. But I am glad that he was the one who expanded your horizons, and made you who you are. He did a very good job. If you live your life by using what he taught you, you should know that he would be proud of you. The best thing you can really do is not to forget him and his ways, and honor his life. He wouldn’t want you to grieve. Maybe setting up a couple of days a year to celebrate his life and remember all the good things would help.
I go to the cemetery in San Jose every year to bring flowers for my cousin; he died at the age of 19 in a car accident. We had a few traditions: • Playing basketball on Thanksgiving Day, and I will try to keep it up by playing basketball with my little brother and younger cousin. • Having grandma compare us so see who is taller. • There are a few others but I would rather not take up too much space Remembering all the good times we had really helped me cope with his death
I feel kind of guilty because I haven't spoken to my grandparents in a while. I’m going to buy a phone card and call them, I miss them very much.
Things will get better Julie, it just takes some time to get back to something close to normal. Friends always help. "Hugs"
