I didnt get to thank him and tell him I loved him before he was gone....lost in a coma. Tell your family you love them.
I do, every time I talk to them. I call my gramma once a week, if I'm busy during the week and more often if I'm not. I call my mom as often as I can and my sister & cousin. I call Dan's family fairly often. His aunt every sunday and his sister, when the mood strikes (which is pretty often).
My gramma is 3,000 miles away but I call her because I want her to know I love her.
I'm really sorry about what happened to your grandpa Julie. But I am glad that he was the one who expanded your horizons, and made you who you are. He did a very good job. If you live your life by using what he taught you, you should know that he would be proud of you. The best thing you can really do is not to forget him and his ways, and honor his life. He wouldn’t want you to grieve. Maybe setting up a couple of days a year to celebrate his life and remember all the good things would help
