Kids tell me at the last minute that they are at the school and Fish is supposed to pick an instrument and, oh yeah, the school needs the money for it tonight (50$ deposit, 25$ a month rent til the end of school). Yeah, no. Amazon to the rescue (relatively speaking, as I didn't want to spend anything at all), 90$ to buy him a trumpet, and it's red!

I've been on a jazz/swing/blues kick lately. The only stuff I don't really like is the quick, hectic brass music. Sounds like a really talented musician, with a fabulous instrument, with ADD, on crack, and not able to find his sheet music.

I've been trying to come up with my top 100 songs and I'm finding I just can't I've surrounded myself for so long with music and songs and the words to sing that it is absolutely impossible to choose so few.
