I know a large amount in bits and pieces of other languages, but can only converse (in a very small way) in two other than my own. Geo sent me an email in German. Either my language skills are rustier than I thought or he is just really better than I am. Or both. Probably both. I know the pronouns and most of the verbs, and the nouns are easy enough to look up. The idioms and grammatical structures are the hardest.
