Playing along because I'm a sheep and (seriously) love a good meme. Here is Stuff You Might Not Know About Me:
1. I've always liked etymology (even before I knew what it was). I'm fascinated by how words are formed and where they came from and evolved.
2. I love fan-fic, sci/fi, and Second Life.
3. I like to speculate what would have been different in my life due to making other choices at key points but I truly enjoy my life now.
4. I am an exscribistionist (someone who leaves their blog open to the general public). tho I do lock a few entries to friends only in the interest of security.
5. When I was young it wasn't unusual for me to read 6 books at a time, without bookmarks, because I would just remember what page I was on.
6. I've always believed I would get breast cancer some day.
7. I believe with all my soul in magic and things you can't prove became you can't prove a negative.
8. I have (off and on) attended community college since 1995. I finally got my AA in 2011.
9. I'm a big fan of parenthetical commentary (because not everything can be explained in simple sentences)
10. I've hung around gamers my whole life but playing (role-playing and videogames in particular) makes me feel anxious and stupid, so I don't. (But I have painted the miniatures since I was 9)
Also there was a discussion about sexual identification and I replied: "I've actually heard from several "sources" that ALL women are bi, to a degree. I don't know if I believe that (I'm in the "all people are different and are what they are" camp) but I don't worry about it too much. I'm weird to some people too (naturally hetero, flirtatiously bi, relationship-ally polyamorous but committed in a monogamous relationship cuz I like him enuf to do it his way)" Yup, I think that's a good explanation.
