Husband's interview at Mega Law Firm went really well! He connected even more with the partner he connected with in the first round of interviews, and he was able to be articulate and come up with ideas for the job. Even though they've changed the job description since the last interview, his qualifications are still uniquely suited to the position - even more so than under the original description. I am very proud of him. He's doing a writing test for them, and then we just wait to hear if he's the one they want. Although that may take a few months, since their process on this job has been incredibly slow. He first interviewed for this job in October of last year, I think. It may have been longer ago than that.
It's really nice not to have to worry about whether he gets this job, since he's already at a solid job that he's happy with, with great benefits. It would nice to work for Mega Law Firm, but it's not necessary. In fact, if they don't offer him substantially more money than he's making now, he plans to turn down the job. Why take on the extra stress for the same amount of money and a decrease in benefits?
