We got home last night about 10:00. I didn't get sick this year! Unfortunately, Chris did. He's got exactly the same crud I came home with last year, and I'm convinced it's a severe allergic reaction. The dust was so much worse this year that I stopped at Lowe's on the second day there and bought dust masks to wear. Hot, but sensible. People kept stopping me and begging me for an extra mask. I hear that about 60 people were treated by the medical teams this year, not just for heat exhaustion, but for asthma.
I'm not sunburned, but I have a weird itchy rash on my forearms. It could be a reaction to lying in the grass, or a reaction to entirely too much sunscreen, or a sun allergy. My mom is allergic to the sun and gets itchy sometimes when she gets too much sun. I'm telling you, the fun never stops with my immune system.
I got some pretty good pictures this year, but I don't want to stay up late posting tonight. I just got home after work and then class, so I'm tired. Here's one of me in my Bonnaroo hazmat gear, though, at the beginning of day 2:
I'm so hip, I can hardly stand it. I know, I should make an icon out of this picture.
