I was going to bed around 4 am every night and getting up at 8 am. My doctor changed some of my meds, and changed the time I took some of my other meds. I was taking them at exactly the wrong time. Then I was able to sleep again!

Maybe you should do some kind of constructive therapy that could help you organize your thoughts and the overwhelming feelings that go with them. Maybe talking to someone or writing down all the obsessive thoughts is what needs to happen. Express it don't repress. Sleep is WAY to important to let a bunch of rootless worries disrupt that.

Maybe you need to give the worries some more grounding so you can actually face/fight them.
