Well, I'm going to hell - I spent the day rewriting Les Mis to fit with Doctor Who. It's about 65% done - I have to write at least two more songs for Act 2, and the dialog for Act 3, and then you will have it in all its cracky goodness.
The gimmick I had for the Harry Potter versions was that Dumbledore always showed up for a musical interlude, even if he wasn't part of the story itself. (He showed up a couple of times when he wasn't alive, even, just so he could have his musical interlude - like I said, these tend to lean toward the crack.) I think I've got an equally good gimmick for these; we'll see how it plays.
