Bill's mom is in town - she and Bill went to Nats game for a little bit, because while his mom isn't a baseball fan, Bill's dad is. And his mom wants to lord it over him that she saw the new stadium first.

Of course, it's raining now, so I don't know how long they'll stay. Me, I'm nice and dry and having FINALLY finished the latest Page and jlrpuck has it in her inbox as I type, so it ought to be ready for posting on Tuesday. (Edit: Or Not. Apparently, I am causing THINKING. Yay me. I think. Oh dear. Too much thinking going on here.....)

Bill and his mom head to the beach tomorrow; I stay here, because I've got a meeting on Tuesday night that I'm desperate to attend, and Bill's not coming back until Wednesday. I don't mind missing the beach. The problem with beaches is that I'm not very good at sitting still without some sort of mental stimulation, be it book, movie, cross-stitch or *gasp* conversation.

Plus, I sunburn like insanity. I'm still sporting a weird sunburn from the baseball game in Baltimore a few weeks ago.

Anyway, I'd sit on the beach, and grumble to myself about all the things that need doing at home (clean out the closets, laundry, ironing, play with the cat, write).

So, the way I see it, I have two choices for my Sunday activities, after Bill and his mom have departed for sun, surf, and sea.

(a) Clean like crazy.

(b) Tie myself to the computer and refuse to let myself get up until I've written chapter five of Water Music.
