International Women's Day!

Happy International Women's Day!!!!!

I spent the day in pyjamas on the couch, cross-stitching and watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer (Season Five), which I think is very appropriate as it's all about female empowerment and whatnot. Plus, Spike is cute.

Bill is now watching The Wedding Crashers, which is also about female empowerment, in that the women eventually captivate the men and force them to get married. (Hey, you gotta know how to spin it.)

The good news is I actually finished page 2 of Erised; the bad news is I haven't taken a photograph of it yet, so I can't share my glory. That will probably come tomorrow. Today is International Women's Day, and I'm staying in my pyjamas, preferably on the couch.

(Okay, fine, I did some editing on the O.S. today too. Good edits, even, catching all sorts of mistakes I missed before. Stupid wiggly things, like having moved a particular scene to April but they're still stomping through the snow. Whoops.)

Pimp:

Bill, in his boredom, has created his own form of March Madness. He's decided to pit various fictional and real-life characters together in fights to the death, and we get to choose the winners. Anyway, he's posted the first two queries on his journal - you can vote in this post, where you will need to solve such burning questions as "The Rebel Alliance v. The Lollipop Guild", and this post, where it's more about determining "Cowboys v. Yaks".

Given the general attitudes and voting practices of the people on my journal, I don't think the Cowboys stand a chance. Poor Cowboys. I mean, they lost the Best Picture Oscar; they can at least fend off a few wild yaks.
