I have two finals next week. Monday=Chem, Wednesday=Bio. I failed at studying for them. Sure, I logged a decent amount of studying time in, but...Thursday I went to Hollywood for a few hours as a "study break." It's ridiculously easy to get to Hollywood from campus thanks to the underground train. I found two pairs of jeans at urban for $10 each, so that worked out well. Friday morning, I decided to go for my long run. I made it to Little Tokyo and about halfway back 9-ish miles, my knee gave out, and I had to take the bus back to campus haha. Friday evening, I took another study break to The Grove. A couple friends of mine wanted to do Christmas shopping. We ate at Wood Ranch BBQ, BEST ROLLS EVER, and their tri-tip salad was quite tasty. I love the Grove at Christmas. They have amazing decorations. It actually felt like December there. Then, this morning I went to the American Apparel Factory Sale! We left at 5:30 AM, got there around 5:45 and got in line. I'd say there was probably like 150 people in front of us. They were supposed to start letting people in at 9, but they didn't start until like 9:30. We were in the first group! (but at the end-ish). Basically they like gate off an area of the parking lot and then scatter boxes of hoodies, cardigans, t-shirts, dresses, accessories, pants, etc. throughout. Everything is damaged, so you just have to find the good stuff, BUT IT'S SO CHEAP. T-shirts for $5, Hoodies for $15, Cardigans for $12! Most of the stuff I bought had tiny holes in it, but whatevs, SO WORTH IT. There was a mad rush for the hoodies when it first started, and they don't let you bring bags in so I was carrying this mound of hoodies that I didn't know what size they were. I ended up throwing a lot of stuff back. It was $5 to get in, but I bought 2 sweatshirts, a cardigan, and three t-shirts, so it was worth it.
