Invisible Children
The past two days we've been watching a documentary in English called Invisible Children. It's about these three college kids (two of which had never left the country) who go to Sudan knowing that there was a possibility they wouldn't return alive. It was really like intense and shocking. These kids get abducted to fight for the rebel army and will get killed if they cry or try to escape. Then, all those who haven't been abducted walk miles every night so they can sleep in a cramped often damp room under the hospital so they won't get taken away in the middle night. On top of that, they have to suffer through poverty often getting one or less meals per day. You should watch it.
Currently, I'm in LA w/ free wireless yay. Unfortunately, half way to LA, I realized I forgot all my textbooks, but it's ok because I really only needed my precalc book and we're coming home late Saturday anyway so I have all Sunday to work on my homework anyway.
