Mum's last week in Sai Gon and my quick Manila stay

May 12, 2007 13:50

Mum didn't know that I was going to fly with her to Manila last weekend. I wanted to surprise her - and real surprise she got! We arrived Friday and I came back to Saigon Tuesday the following week. One of my Korean Support Team staff also flew with us to visit his Korean counterparts in the Philippines who were working on the Ragnarok project lodged under Level Up! Inc. It was a very short break that I chose not to announce it to everyone. Only a few people knew, and they knew by surprise right when I was there asking to meet up with them. Sorry if it was rude not to tell a lot of people about it, but I just had three full days to spend with my family and very close friends.

On her last weekend in Saigon, we went to Warda to have dinner and drink the night away. This is my Mum and she's 51 years old.

Happily intoxicated Mum.

With Sejinn at the Tan Son Nhat Airport waiting for our ride to Manila.

Mabuhay! Sejinn's first time in Manila.

My sister, Ellaine, and Charles welcome us home.

Mammu is how my nieces, my Mum's granddaughters call her.

What we need here in Saigon are 1.5L Coke Light PET bottles!

The rest of the night was spent with Ed, my best friend, while my family sleeps. It's our first to see each other again after 10 months. He lives in Canada.

Basag.

Oh Manila.

Fun times!

Missed my Bobby so much.

Made a quick detour to Level Up! to meet up with close friends Sheila, Jojo and Meng.

Sejinn met up with me at Pacific Star for his quick tour of Rockwell Powerplant Mall with me.
