At around 3:30ish Lee came over to my house to hang out before we went over to Cindy's house. About half an hour later we went to Kat's house. I promised her that I'd come over early so that we could hang out first before we all went to Cindy;s. There we made chocolate milkshakes. Yummers. (Although, we all know they'd taste better with the addition of Bailey's) We tried teaching Lee how to blow bubbles from gum but he's not exactly the easiest person to teach this too. We went to Mac's to buy Bubblicious since that makes better bubbles than Clorets gum. Needless to say, we still failed to get him to blow one. No matter how we taught him, he still couldn't manage to do it. It kept us occupied on the trip to Cindy's house.
At Cindy's house, we decided that we need sparklers for later that night. So Kat and Jenny volunteered to go. I was hesitant, since I'm so damn lazy, but I decided to go anyways, and it was a good thing too. The guy at Mac's wouldn't sell it to us unless we were 18. And I'm the only one outta the three of us who went that was 18. Good thing I went then. we bought about 66 sparklers. (50 little ones and 16 big ones) He also flirted with us too, which was very disturbing. And I mean disturbing, he was old and not very good looking. We vowed never to return during his shifts.
When we got back, we headed over to the Ribfest where we seperated and bought ribs. Cindy wanted to buy them for us, but we wouldn't let her. Well, I know Lee and I wouldn't accept her money. I think she mentioned that she gave money to the other people, but I dunno if they used it. After we got our ribs we went back to her house to get fat and eat 'em all. oh the crazy times. Deciding on a meeting point was crazy though since Aaron was like the ferris wheel, the ferris wheel. *rolls her eyes* So after we(Lee and I) got our ribs, we went to the ferris wheel to look for people. But there wasn't anyone there. So we went back to the lines in hopes to find someone, we found the whole group minus two people (Cindy and Aaron) Aaron called Vicky's cellphone and told her that we'd meet by the Budweiser thingy. Since all of us were there in line, Lee and I volunteered to find Aaron and Cindy and bring them to the line. Which proved to be pointless since they weren't there and once we returned, they showed up to the line 5 minutes later. Makes you wanna strangle the boy.
At Cindy's house, we were greeted by a dining room filled with food. Vegetables, salads and drinks and fruits. Lots of food. Plus the ribs that we bought. YUMMY. I could feel myself expand. After that we went back to explore the ribfest and claim our spots for the fireworks. Aaron, Lee, Cindy and I went on this spaceship ride thing, it was like being sucked up against the wall and spinning around super duper fast. Crazy times. We had issues making our way back to our spot on the hill for fireworks, but we made it there eventually. The fireworks were cool, but they didn't look as good as the ones I saw on TV from Ontario Place. But then again it's Centennial, so I guess we can't complain, huh?
At Cindy's house we set off most the of the sparklers. We only had 7 left for Kat's house. At Kat's house (well in the field behind it) we set off the fireworks that Aaron brought. Well, it was an interesting thing trying to set them off. It was about 11:40 or so and really windy. We had issues.
