Tomorrow's graduation, I finally graduate high school. That means, I've gotten my secondary level education and will move onto post secondary education. It makes you wonder if all these years of school will be worth it in the long run.
Like seriously, 10 years of elementary school, who taught us our shapes and basic math (which Sesame Street did perfectly well in my opinion) Then there's the 4 years of high school. Now that you could say was worth some of it. Mind you some of the courses weren't worth it. I still wonder to this day why I took an extra 2 years of French when I can't speak a basic sentence of it. But, if you really think about it, high school gives us the basis for post secondary.
But the ten years before this, is completely lost to me. To be honest, I don't remember a thing my elementary school "taught" me. Since most of it I already knew, the rest was just filler and now my brain taught accept anything new. Stupid school. I know university will be worth it. It should since I have to pay like 5000+ a year just to receive this higher level education. It sounds a heck of a lot more interesting too. I mean, I get to choose my courses, of course out of a list of pre selected ones, but for the most part I get to pick them. Plus I can specialize in something. Sounds good to me.
On another note, I was just thinking about these plans about my friend's birthday thing today. On a second thought about this. I better lock this portion of my entry before someone gets all huffy again. (Those privledged to be on my "Friends" list can read my rant)
