[The device is hanging from the base of Janine's neck. There's a fringe of pale not-hair, which on that part of her body is fluffy and almost cravat-like, hanging over the upper edge of the screen. Most of the rest of her isn't visible, but wing-arms on each side and the underside of a perspective-distorted long beak are coming in and out of view.]

Ineffective when a noisemaker in the 'front yard' of my home. The acoustics being what they are, sounds as if you're right on my doorstep!

As am I. You are physically near my home. Your racket is not coming thru the device, but the living room windows - that I was forced to close in an attempt to muffle the noise.

That's your house, huh? Didn't think it would carry that far. [Not a mammal. The bones that in mammals are miniscule and part of the ear are quite a bit larger and part of her jaw.]

But all right, I can pack up and get to the dunes.

[Thrown for a half second by that remark. House is hidden within the forest line how could this newcomer avian creature readily spot it from the beach...because the newcomer's avian!! Probably flew in and spotted it from overhead, of course.

Also of course, easy to assume there be common humans - not a higher sensed vampiric being - living in this area. Although the 'bird' seems fairly reasonable now its-her noisy wrong was pointed out, best to apologize and be on good terms.]

I am sorry. Innocent mistake, no harm done. You may continue to forage, albeit quietly, please.
