I have been so tired lately that it actually feels strange to me right now to be so awake. I have been having a wheat grass meal replacement shake every morning for about a week and it seems to be paying off: I am feeling more energized, loosing weight, and I my skin feels softer. I am very happy with the results and plan to keep up my breakfast routine. I am also growing fresh wheat grass in trays as seen in the pic in my last post. I continue to make fresh sushi and have started cooking some really good veggie dishes including stuffed eggplant with burdock and bulgar wheat- so very good. I am eating so well that I don't feel like I'm on a diet at all.
My new job is going well but I find myself more bored than I had been. This will not be the case once the big operation starts in about a month but for now things are slow and I wish I had more to do. I am so very glad I got the promotion though because the experience I gain is going to go a long way when looking for my next job. I really feel that I'll be in a great position to get into a good HR/Admin job once I am released at the close of the operation.
But...I'm also considering going back to school...I am actually filling out a fafsa application right now. I want to start at a community college (even though I already have a BA) taking some science and math classes- from there I'd like to get into a program at UB. I have only recently thought about going back to school but I feel very motivated and so I plan to move forward with my plans and hope to complete a couple of classes before the start of fall semester. I may choose to stay a part time student for the next two years before applying to the program I'm interested in.
About a year or so ago I made a vision board- it works, I have achieved or am in the process of completing just about everything on it. So it needs updating...and I leave a list here. These goals will be big and small and may be short term or long term.
In the next couple of years I hope to achieve:
*Ownership of a home- min 2 bed 1 bath, small yard- starter home
*Ownership of acreage in AZ. I want to purchase some investment land
*Save up $15,000 in my bank accounts- continue to save
*Diversify my portfolio: stocks, mutual funds, money market, roth ira, etc
*Own a dependable car-nothing new or fancy...just depenable
*Have something published
*Watch a baby tortoise hatch
*Raise my credit score above 720
*Reach my goal weight- I've already lost 33lbs
*Go on a REAL vacation
*Cancel cable- need to watch less tv
*Start a regular blog, and maybe a podcast
*Continue making healthy eating/living choices
*Take regular walks on the beach
