We are pleased to announce the up coming Research Seminar on Economic Social and Cultural Rights. This Seminar will take place on 29 September 2010 in the Jan Moen Zaal, J-Building, Level 5, Campus Woudestein, Erasmus University Rotterdam. The topic of this Seminar is “Ten Years with General Comment 14”. Thus this Seminar will address the Right to Health as interpreted in General Comment 14 including its inter-linkages with other human rights. Please see attached programme for more details.
We would also like to announce that we are hosting this Seminar to initiate the creation of a working group on Economic Social and Cultural Rights within the School of Human Rights Research frame on working groups. A discussion on this will take place during the third session of the Seminar (see programme).
Finally, it is our pleasure to host this particular Seminar to mark the occasion that the Health Law Section of Institute of Health Policy and Management joined the Netherlands School of Human Rights Research.
This Seminar is open to students, fellow researchers, academics and practitioners affiliated with the Netherlands School of Human Rights Research and the Institute of Health Policy and Management and other interested persons. The registration deadline for the Seminar is 22 September 2010 (see registration form). Please register early as seating is limited.
