I appear to have bought - in all but deed - a car that I haven't seen or driven any version of, from someone I only know through reputation and chatting to twice. It's a Lexus LS400 with LPG conversion. I haven't even worked out exactly how or when I'm going to pick it up.

I think I'll just go and have a little lie-down now.

So in actuality things are actually going really well for me. It is of course at this point that self-doubt creeps in and niggles away. I come home to find the cat has left me a present propped up against the wall and the litter tray.

The other day it was hiding in drawers he couldn't get out of.

ION, werk do was a success. Bed now, no more sleepless nights, at least for a while :)

I just read that a teenager has released a dictionary for parents of other teenagers. Nothing amazing by itself, but I discovered that the teenage word for cool, is apparently 'book'. I was rather tickled to discover that the reason for this is that 'book' is the first suggestion by predictive text when typing 'cool' into a mobile phone ( Read more... )
