I was working Box Office last night (Yeah, we're that short on staff), and after being told her total was $46.50 for three tickets, this woman says to me, "Did you know, young lady, that in my day a ticket cost ten cents?"
To which I said, "Yeah, but in your day wages were also about a buck. So the ratio hasn't changed all that much."
She totally laughed, took her tickets, and wished me a good day.
I love it when I get customers like her.
