#01 - Comfort

Nobody knows Takeru isn’t the only one to watch his digimon die, and when Yamato shows up at her doorstep, carrying an egg and seeking comfort, Sora does the only thing she can and hugs him to her tightly.

~~~
#02 - Kiss
By some ill-intentioned rumor, everyone thinks Taichi took her first kiss sometime around sixth grade, but it really doesn’t happen until that fateful Christmas night two years later when, during Yamato’s concert, wild digimons attack the place; an accident, really, the kiss, for he is probably aiming at her cheek when she decides to turn her head just so and let their lips touch for one blissful and fleeting moment.
~~~

#03 - Soft

In one deliberate, involuntary motion, he moves his hands up her arm in a gentle caress and grasp her upper arm firmly, pulling her to him somewhat possessively (certainly, last night, it wasn’t a dream?), and the collective gasp that echoes around the cafeteria is drowned by her sharp intake of breath as he slides his free hand up her back and under her school blouse and-ah, yes, as soft as he remembers, her skin.

~~~
#04 - Pain
He writhes in his bed, grimacing in pain, exaggerating too much perhaps, because it’s only a minor fracture on his leg and, really, all his friends tell him he can take much more than that but he doesn’t care and only thinks his little show will pay off, and it finally does when he’s left alone with her in his hospital room and she leans over him and kisses his lips and says she’ll make the pain go away while massaging his injured leg and-fuck, it takes his whole damn control not to scream in triumph.
~~~

#05 - Potatoes

She doesn’t like potatoes, never really did, but when they come along with Yamato’s lips she finds that she can actually enjoy them very, very much.

~~~
#06 - Rain
“Sora, it’s raining, and I’m freezing,” he says, but she ignores him and keeps spinning around under the rain, and when she dances her way to him he can only oblige to her silent invitation.
~~~

#07 - Chocolate

She stares at him, eyes wide with shock and confusion, probably wondering why he doesn’t like chocolate (and if so, then why had he accepted and actually eaten the cookies she made him last Christmas); so he says “if you make the chocolate, I’ll eat it gladly,” and marvels at the bright blush that graces her face.

~~~
#08 - Happiness
It breaks her heart to know that because of his job ("an astronaut? Yamato, happened to your love for music?") his eyes won’t light up with joy every time he sees their children’s smiling faces, he won’t look at her with those deep blue, love-filled eyes ever again-because there is no life in his eyes, there is no light; he is blind.
~~~

#09 - Telephone

As she watches Miyako wave to the shrinking form of Imperialdramon her cell-phone starts to vibrate, alerting her of an incoming text message, she hastens to open it when she sees it’s from Yamato only to find four words, and she smiles; I love you, too.

~~~
#10 - Ears
“You have cute ears, but they’re even cuter when you blush,” he says and her whole face -plus ears- heats up with a sudden blush she did not want; Sora tries very hard not to slap the smirk of his face away.
~~~

#11 - Name

They stand in front of each other, entering a glaring contest neither wants to lose, but in the end it is she who wins, as always, “we are not naming our son after your father, and that’s final.”

~~~
#12 - Sensual
“How can you do that,” he asks, receiving only a confused stare in response, begging for him to elaborate, “how can you be so sexy, so sensual, without even trying?”
~~~

#13 - Death

She wants to cry, wants to rage at him for doing this, scream that she isn’t going to tolerate this kind of recklessness from him, not from him, not when they have so much left to do, not when their children need him now more than ever, but she doesn’t, nodding her head instead and letting him go in what is another life-risking trip to space.

~~~
#14 - Sex
Somewhere in the back of her mind, she always thought sex with Yamato (her first time) would be extraordinarily perfect, but it’s not (and yet it is); it’s messy and clumsy and not perfect at all but it’s magical and wonderful and leaves her feeling sore and tingly and yearning for more and, ironically enough, it is as perfect as it could ever be, her first time.
~~~

#15 - Touch

Girls fawn over him, flirting shamelessly, and ignoring completely that his girlfriend is right next to him, and she’s jealous (so, so jealous) and-there, his touch; she only needs one touch from his part, his hand resting lightly on the small of her back while he leads her away from his crazed fans, to reassure her that it is her, Sora, the one he wants.

~~~
#16 - Weakness
Yamato has always known his weakness were his friends, hence the name of his crest, but somewhere along their last adventure in the Digiworld and Christmas Eve two years later something changes, because, as the building starts to crumble and he can’t see where she is, in his state of blind panic he suddenly realizes he has a greater weakness now, and that’s Sora.
~~~

#17 - Tears

Her lips tremble, a soft whimper escapes her mouth and tears gather quickly in her eyes-he panics, and curses mentally this ability his daughter inherited from Sora to make him feel guilty every time he makes her (them) cry.

~~~
#18 - Speed
Sora doesn’t like his motorbike, not does she like speed, not really, but when Yamato flashes her his million-yen smile, saying in that oh-so-sexy voice of his want a ride? she can only nod her head and smile, because yes, she does want a ride.
~~~

#19 - Wind

“Cut it out,” he growls at her, wanting to be mad as he tries to keep his hair from getting wilder than it is, but the wind is strong and she laughs at his predicament while ignoring his glare.

~~~
#20 - Freedom
“I love you,” he says, and doesn’t think he’s ever felt as free as he feels right now, with her smiling face beaming up at him.
~~~

#21 - Life

The question hangs between them for a few moments as she looks into his blue eyes, letting her consider this life-altering decision before answering, “Yes, I’m sure, peach-colored walls will go well with the bedding.”

~~~
#22 - Jealousy
“You know, I’m feeling kind of jealous here, what with all the attention you give to your precious guitar,” she says, ignoring his million-yen smirk almost successfully.
~~~

#23 - Hands

Sora feels his wandering hands getting dangerously close to her backside, and while normally she would’ve let him accomplish his goal, they’re in a public place now, and more importantly, they’re in the presence of her parents, so one glare in his directions and Yamato withdraws his hands with a resigned sigh.

~~~
#24 - Taste
He tries his damnest best not to wince as the flavor of her soup reach his tongue and goes straight to his stomach, and not wanting to be the reason for her smile disappearing now, he only smiles and nods, “It tastes good.”
~~~

#25 - Devotion

“Honestly, this kind of devotion can’t be healthy, Yamato-I mean, it’s your hair,” says Sora, resisting the urge to laugh.

~~~
#26 - Forever
“Do you promise, Daddy, to take Mommy as your lawful wedded wife forever and ever?”
~~~

#27 - Blood

“Sora… oh God, Sora, hang on, just… please, hang on, you can’t… not now,” Yamato sobs softly, repeating over and over those words of encouragement but knowing ultimately that there is nothing he, anyone, can do now (with too much blood, there is too much fucking blood) and the thought that he shouldshouldshould have been faster won’t leave his mind and-he has been too late.

~~~
#28 - Sickness
Yamato wonders briefly if this is what the minister meant when he married them last week, as he looks at Sora sleeping, flushed face and sweaty temple, finally at peace next to him, but soon regrets even thinking as it made his head hurt too much-in sickness and in health, indeed.
~~~

#29 - Melody

She doesn’t says anything when she hears him playing his harmonica, only approaches him and sits next to him, hugging him tight; he’s feeling nostalgic, and honestly, so is she.

~~~
#30 - Star
He’s a superstar, with admirers and a fan club and pretty girls following him around and willing to do whatever he pleases, so why he choose to be with her is a real mystery, but one Sora will cherish forever.
~~~

#31 - Home

“Are you happy to be back, Yamato?” asks Gabumon and he only smiles because yes, he is happy to be home, happy to finally be with Sora again and with his new baby boy.

~~~
#32 - Confusion
Sora clutches the box containing the cookies she so lovingly made for Yamato, pushing her confusing thought back; it is the right thing to do, he had given her all the signs all through the summer, he even kissed her for God’s sake (granted, it had only been a peck on the lips, but it was still a kiss), so there is no reason to doubt her decicion.
~~~

#33 - Fear

Her biggest fear in her younger days had been that someday Yamato would realize she wasn’t enough and go find some other girl (prettier, sexy) and make her his bride; now however, she dreads (and hopes, God, she hopes it never comes) the day she receives a call telling that Yamato has been taken away from her… by the vast and endless sky.

~~~
#34 - Lightning/Thunder
Yamato sighs in defeat when the lightings light up the room temporarily, and wonders what went wrong; because who would’ve thought that their first night together would be spent trapped inside an old cabin in the middle of the woods somewhere in the Digiworld while a storm rages outside?
~~~

#35 - Bonds

“You know, when the old lady told me we were going to be bonded together, I never imagine it to be like this,” says Yamato, trying to move his arms but the chains that bind him to Sora at the moment prevents him from accomplishing anything.

~~~
#36 - Market
“Yamato, it’s only a stroll in the park,” she says, but he insists that they need to be careful, because, well, they need to go through the market and there are all these stray dogs with god knows how many infection and she’s only a baby, Sora, something could happen to her.
~~~

#37 - Technology

“I don’t understand these kids, there is nothing wrong with a good ol’ iPhone,” Yamato complains to his wife, while looking at the badge-like object his son asked as a birthday present that, according to him, has everything you could need nowadays (phone, music, video games, digital camera, even a fucking GPS, and a handful of other things he doesn’t even know) and more.

~~~
#38 - Gift
She is sad the they won’t be able to spend this Valentine together, but smiles nonetheless as she hold his present for her at arm’s lengths; a song, he wrote her a song.
~~~

#39 - Smile

It is the last thing he sees before darkness engulfs him, her smile-that smile, the first smile.

~~~
#40 - Innocence
Sora can’t help but roll her eyes at her husband as he whispers ("don’t worry, princess, daddy won’t let the monsters take you away") to the baby who looks at him curiously with her big, innocent eyes.
~~~

#41 - Completion

“There, all done,” says his daughter and Yamato can only smile resignedly as he looks at the plate full of what he thinks are cookies, while doing his best to ignore his giggling wife.

~~~
#42 - Clouds
She’ll never say it, but Sora loves when Yamato lets his softer side show ("look, that cloud looks like Tsunomon"), especially when this side only comes out around her.
~~~

#43 - Sky

Ever since he was a child he’s wanted to conquer the sky, but he never thought he’ll succeed in such a way-by conquering Sora’s heart.

~~~
#44 - Heaven
“Do you believe in Heaven, Yamato?” asks Sora, and stoic as he is, he can’t help but smile because as he watches the sun make her skin glow and the serene smile on her face, he realizes that yes, he does believe in Heaven.
~~~

#45 - Hell

She arched one perfect eyebrow and looked pointedly at Yamato, asking calmly, “why does my living room look like Hell broke loose?”

~~~
#46 - Sun
“Oh, Yamato, stop being a baby,” Sora says, rubbing some lotion on his back, “it’s only a minor sunburn.”
~~~

#47 - Moon

“Are you sure you aren’t some personification of the sea,” he asks, dogging a shoe, “because you certainly seem to follow the moon’s cycle pretty accurately.”

~~~
#48 - Waves
He splutters and tries his damnest best to ignore her merry laugh and the gasps of I told you the waves are strong enough to knock you off you feet.
~~~

#49 - Hair

He loves his little girl, he does, but if he hears one more of those oh my god she has your hair! comments from his friends, Yamato knows, he’ll hit something-or someone.

~~~
#50 - Supernova
Kissing her is splendid, like nothing he’s ever felt before, like something exploding inside his chest and threatening it to tear it open, like a star exploding, like-like a supernova.
