Taichi looked at Yamato with a bored expression on his face, a pout wanting to break free, but he held it back.
His friend had been working on that stupid song of his for the past three hours and he was getting sick of his one-syllable responses and lack of attention.
He was B-O-R-E-D for god’s sake! Why the hell did Yamato invite him over if he was going to ignore him!?!
Then there was their current situation, and Yamato wasn’t even planning on doing something about it.
Said situation could be translated to twelve simple words: When were they going to tell the world they were a couple?
Sure, Taichi could understand that Yamato, being a famous rock star, couldn’t just go right ahead and confess something like that (and stay out of the closet as if nothing had happened).
Homosexuality was something serious and they would need to discuss it further before reaching a conclusion. Well, that was what Yamato said every day.
But they could, at least, tell their closest friends and family. Surely, they’d understand, right?
Taichi sighed and threw himself over Yamato’s couch, letting out a growl, trying to catch his friend’s attention and succeeding partly.
“What is bothering you, Taichi?”
“Wow, five words!” Taichi joked, but it didn’t do any difference, for Yamato glanced his way barely, before looking back to his newest lyrics.
“You don’t have to stay here if you are so bored,” Yamato said, not bothering to look up from his work.
Oh, so he did notice, Taichi thought.
“You invited me.”
“But I told you I had things to do beforehand, plus I didn’t force you to come.”
Taichi huffed indignantly. Great, now he was also angry.
“Tell me what’s on your mind, Taichi, you’re not good at keeping your emotions under control,” Yamato said after a while, sounding somewhat amused.
And Taichi being Taichi, he blurted out the first thing that came to his mind. “When are we going to tell everyone about us?”
The deadly silence that followed made him shrink a little on the couch. He hadn’t meant to upset Yamato.
“Taichi, we need to talk about it first, sort things out before going out in the open,” the blonde-haired youth said, sighing tiredly.
“Well, let’s talk!”
Yamato smiled apologetically, moving the sheets of paper on his hand, before resuming his work. “Not today, Taichi, I’m kind of busy right now.”
“But you’re always busy nowadays!” Taichi growled, narrowing his eyes dangerously as he watched his boyfriend laugh.
“We’ll talk tomorrow, okay?” Yamato said, walking towards him and showing a dashing smile. “Now, if you excuse me, I’ve got an e-mail to send,” he leaned down and placed a tender kiss on the brunette’s lips, before walking away.
Taichi blinked a few time, his face turning, and let out a angry scream. “YOU’RE A FUCKING PROCASTINATOR, YAMATO‼”
