Somehow ended up discussing the topic of responsibility with a friend. It made me recall one of the things I couldn't understand about Japan. When people here talk about "taking responsibility" for any problems, it usually refers to the current dude quitting and pulling some new hapless bugger onboard to clean up the mess he's leaving behind ( Read more... )

It's been a long time since I last blogged in a personal capacity.

Went to Osaka over Golden Week, and I liked the place, people, food, language (especially this!) so much that I was very sad to have to come back. Attended COMIN' KOBE, my first festival and second live out of Tokyo/Chiba/Kanagawa. Festivals are awesome, but oh so tiring. Can't wait ( Read more... )

WENT RUNNING YESTERDAY.
FOR THE FIRST TIME IN TWO YEARS.

Did help to dispel most of the pent-up rage, so I guess I'm glad I decided to go on that run. I say "run", but walking took up about a third of the total distance.
