(no subject)
Had our first jam session last night, and it was not too bad.. I think I need to warm up a little before I start drumming next time, especially if we play fast songs. We played "I Predict a Riot" by Kaiser Chiefs and PLNS. After about 4 rounds of IPAR, I think my arm muscle went numb or something. Whenever I crash, I feel the arm muscle tense sharply. It's the 'suan1' feeling. I'm getting out-of-practice man..
Anyway, Rockfest songs are (FINALLY!) confirmed. We're playing 6 songs, all of which are quite fast. I guess the song choices were largely also influenced by the fact that it's going to be my last year playing with the Raffles Hall band, so I chose all the songs that you can get damn high to. It feels quite sad actually, that statement that it's going to be my last year playing with the band in hall. I hope I can continue to play in a band even if I'm out of RH. Perhaps it's time to start looking about seriously at outside bands.
Issues are semi-cleared up, and I'm glad. Perhaps I'll smile more from now on.
