I need to stop buying t-shirts.

I get lots of LOL from Kotaku comments, like this one from the Kinect Hype vs. Kinect Reality article:

"Hype is bad, mmkay?

Did we not learn this from the Wii's potential...or the PS3 price point...or the Xbox 360 RROD...or the PSP and games...or the DS and what we wanted in the upgrades not happening...or Smash Bros. Brawl's release...or Banjo Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts...or the Dreamcast...or the Virtual Boy...or OnLive...or what Hitler was telling us back before WWII started...or what the US told us when we went into WWI...or the hype about becoming free from the UK...

I mean let's be honest guys, hype is awful. We could be drinking tea and calling cookies "biscuits" but no. We had to get all hyped up about freedom and tyranny- and the next thing ya know we're in a war and the only Queen we have is a band...

Huh? You mean their British too? Damn it..."

In other news, no Monster Hunter for me even though it was released today. I am still horrified that I have to upgrade my PSP's firmware to the latest version in order to play the game. This will effectively mean that I can only play MHP3 and the Poka Poka Airu games, because that's all the UMDs I have here.

But! I managed to get most of the MH x Uniqlo tshirts I wanted in my size! I missed out on the plastic container thing I saw that the Harajuku store has, but I managed to get everything from the Hiyoshi Uniqlo which is right at (my campus') doorstep.

Trip to the Sony showroom today was awesome. Could have been more awesome if I had actually been awake enough to really appreciate it. And of course, we just got notified that the trip wasn't free - we needed to hand up a report next week. But I guess it's pretty fair exchange since we got to see cool things.

monster hunting!
