Today is productive because...

I wrote up the abstract for our JS1101E group paper, and added and tidied up my Final Fantasy music collection on iTunes. I think I have almost the entire discography (or so it feels, because it took me half a day to get the whole thing done). Could have been done a lot faster, but I'm picky about writing names properly (i.e. if it's Japanese, then the surname HAS to come first, followed by given name). Turns out that by default, the given name comes first, so I had to change every single name there was.

Also, after digging about on Elizabeth, I realised that I actually already have the Distant Worlds album since half a year ago. I guess this means that there's no hurry to buy it then. Shall hunt for it when I go to Japan next time.

I quite like some of the songs from Okami. I remember being interested in the game when I first heard about it, but never got to play it since I don't own a PS2. Let's hope it's compatible with the PS3, so that I can finally try it out whenever I manage to lay my hands on a set.

Besides that, I also completed Hitachiin Hikaru's route in Ouran High School Host Club DS (no walkthrough+squinting at Japanese words ftw!). Actually I tended to agree more with Kaoru's answers than Hikaru's, but for the sake of getting the boy, no choice. Will probably go for Kaoru next, and I think that would be about it for this game, since the rest aren't my type at all. Haninozuka's voice annoys the crap out of me, and the seiyuu for Mori has the easiest job since he doesn't speak much at all. When he speaks it's usually stuff like "okay", "aa..", "that's no good, Mitsukuni", and "there's no problem". Somehow, it feels like the game ended rather abruptly. There are only 5(6?) chapters, plus some extra thing called "Special" on the game menu that involves me picking yes/no/don't know and getting two more pictures off it. Also, the timeline of the game is about a month after you're forced to join the club to repay your debt, so it's really much shorter than the 3 years in TMGS and 1 year in LoveRevo that I've played before. I guess the good thing about the game is that the graphics are nice, and it's (if I'm not wrong) fully-voiced except when Haruhi thinks to herself or when there's narration. I turned into happy goo at Hikaru's confession though (he's so awkwardly cute :D ), so I guess that's one good thing to be got from betraying my own views throughout the game. At least that won't happen with the more mature twin Kaoru! I wonder what his confession would be like^^

Whoever is in the Humanities Department of Manchester University who left their computer/laptop on overnight, I love you. Because of you, I am less than a day away to getting all my 287 Chinese-subbed episodes of Oshin.
