Ride the ropeway!

I have a sudden great urge to replace my current ringtone, from "Juicebox" by The Strokes to the Final Fantasy VII Gold Saucer theme because for some reason it makes me immensely happy to hear it, and feel like skipping. I don't know why, though. Maybe because it sounds so... psychedelic? Though I'm not sure if that's an appropriate word to use, but it's the first word to strike me.

It's like all rainbows and gold and sparkly things, and the immense high you hit, most probably by taking drugs, because you start seeing rainbows appear out of nowhere, random clouds floating about, and mascot characters walking around (okay, they had Cait Sith, but yea). Sorta like a place where dreams come true, a pumped up version of Disneyland. Though I suppose that's what the Gold Saucer is supposed to be - an amusement park-kinda location where you can bet on chocobo races like you do on horse races, and play other random games, plus it's only accessed via a ropeway that takes you somewhere into the sky.

Ah, childhood. (I just felt like saying this, though it sounds vaguely irrelevant.)

I wonder why they didn't play it yesterday though. But I guess it just isn't a fanboy favourite unlike *COUGH*One-winged angel*COUGH*. Not that I don't like the song, but the fanboys yesterday were a little frightening because they sounded like an angry mob shouting "PLAY ONE-WINGED ANGEL OR ELSE". Okay they did not say OR ELSE, but they sounded awful scary.

Why the tag saying I might never get married? Because there's probably a higher percentage that the guys who have the same interests as me would behave like that.

Now I'll have to find one day to test the song as an alarm tone, since it needs to wake me up. "Juicebox" was better in the sense that it starts off with a mean, aggressive-sounding bassline.

final fantasy, this blog's owner will never get married, gamelove, music
