+ The first trailer for the A-Team movie is out (link over at trailer_spot's). It looks absolutely crap, just as I suspected/feared it would when the casting announcements were made. Sigh. I don't understand how it all could have gone so wrong.
+ Between bringing back McGwire and signing Holliday for $120 Million, the Cardinals are making me want to throw up in my mouth. Go Brewers.
+ Movie Roundup!
1. Saw Avatar in 3D this past weekend, with rickenbacker and johnnybvo. It was my first 3D experience, and will likely be my last. I just don't get all the hullabaloo about 3D, I really don't. I enjoyed the movie well enough (what can I say, I always watch Dances With Wolves when I catch it on tv) but I really don't think I would have liked Avatar any less if I'd seen the "regular" version.
2. The Princess & The Frog: Thanks for the 10 minutes of screentime you gave our black princess, Disney. Too bad I thought the story was a borefest, and the songs were totally immemorable. Did anyone actually like that movie?
3. Sherlock Holmes: I didn't even pay to see this, and it still felt like a waste of my money. Don't even bother with the movie, kids, Downey or no Downey; just go for the fic.
