johnnybvo came over last night, and we watched 2010, the SG-1 classic. Thanks for sending the note back, Future!SG-1. Now, I don't have awesome site-to-site ring travel, and I can't tour Stargate Command >:[ What about my needs?
+ Sure it happened last week, but Patrick Stewart is a knight! I know, I know, I also thought he was already a knight. Like, from years ago. But apparently not. So way to get with the program, Queen Elizabeth II.
+ The NY Post is reporting that A-Rod and Hudson are no longer an item. I know I shouldn't even be dignifying this kind of "news" with a post, but I hope it's true, because while I am sure she's a perfectly nice woman, I quickly tired of the camera shots of her during ballgames, and seeing his dumbass on entertainment magazines. I like my baseball OVER HERE, and my movies OVER THERE, and never the twain shall meet unless they're gonna be discreet about that shit.
Also, I totally recall someone on the MLB Network crediting Kate for Alex's turnaround last year, so I will, quite frankly, be amused beyond measure if he returns to crap-in-big-moments form.
+ Confession: I looooooooove the Radio Classics station on XM. I also may or may not find myself listening to an inordinate amount of Martha Stewart Living Radio on XM. The other night I tuned in, and I swear on Huston's tendency to choke in big games that the hosts were relaying the New York Department of Health's list of 10 tips for safer heroin use. I don't even know what that was about, you guys.
+ I don't claim to know anything about basketball, but I think it's completely ridiculous that Gilbert Arenas (sp?) was on the court yesterday. So what if the legal system hasn't taken action, or the commissioner hasn't handed down his punishment yet? How does the front office of the Wizards not go "Um, yeah, joke or not, star player, it's not okay to bring guns into our lockeroom." Ugh.
