Goram reply limit...actually about that Frack still sounds really stupid and forced about 80% of the time. They could totally take a page from Firefly's book and have more than one naughty word to go. Did FS have something besides Frell? I can't remember. Anyways

With this show, I just have so much faith that the writers know where they want to take it. I haven't heard anything to back this up, but I almost feel like they have this JMS type thing going where they already have the show's larger arc worked out, and they're just filling in the details. Anyway, what you said: I can't wait to see what happens ^_^

I think you're right about them being on a JMS scale, which will probably only become more obvious the deeper we get into the series (where seeds planted in s1 start to pay off in s3 and beyond). Also maybe they seem to be JMS'in it is because the stories are so tight. There has been practically no filler eps so far, with every eps moving things forward (take notes LOST, you bummers). Not to mention that they use the entire cast really effectively. Like I'm never sitting back (save for one exception - the doctor. He should get tons more screen time, damn it!) thinking where is so and so, or why isn't so and so getting any screen time. They are really judicious with giving everyone some meat which in turn makes everyone and their actions seem that much more important. Like on a lesser show characters like Gaita and Dualla would be non-factors, let alone lamers like Hot-Dog (why do I care what happens to hot-fucking dog?). That's really saying something considering how much time the "stars" of the show get.

Man, "frak" has totally failed to grow on me. Cally called Tyrol a motherfrakker the other week and I was just like WE GET IT.

And are you kidding? Farscape was rolling in alien cursewords. Um, yotz, dren, hezmana...

You know, you're right about that. It wasn't anything I had consciously noticed, but yeah. Though seriously, they can cut back on Ellen's screentime any day now.

Btw, what do you make of Gaeta not revealing to Tigh that he knew Dualla had made off-log calls? Simply out of a sense of friendship? Or did he, like Lee, finally realize that what command was doing was wrong?

Thus the reason why I need to make with the rewatching the series again. Cause we've gone over my memory and how god decided it would be high-larious if he/she/it didn't give me one. But first up is Xena and DS9 if Spike TV doesn't fuck with me (which I've totally forgotten and I watched it through 2 times!).

Gaeta is as by the books as they come, so I don't think it was a friendship thing (if that was it I think he would her turned her in). I think the friendship aspect of the situation came into play during the scene with her in the bathroom. He let her know the he was suspicious, didn't exactly approve, and also that shit doesn't get by him.

Firstly he didn't think Tigh was good in command thus hesitating giving a couple of Tigh's orders to the fleet. Plus I get the feeling that he's Adama's golden boy, so he wouldn't like someone else taking over Adama's ship no matter the situation. I think it was more he didn't think Tigh was fit to command and realized that something had to be done. Also he's starting to realize that things aren't as cut and dry as they used to be and things need to be a bit more flexible (thus him not reporting my wife as soon as he suspected).

And now it's time to rinse, wash, and repeat. Hope tonight's eps are good.
