i can't tell if this season is genuinely awesome or it's awesome because of Mary McDonnell
The Closer spoilers only if you care about the plot irrelevant details that I fixate on to justify my insanity.
I'm resigned to the inevitable disappointment The Closer spin-off is going to be compared to my desires and deeply crushed a little bit upset about it. Thanks to last week's episode where Captain Raydor was a goddamn badass and tonight's -- I think Rebecca Black inspired -- episode in which Brenda's lawyer acted like an ONTD member and Raydor joined in on eating Twizzlers in the vid room, in my head the spin-off now revolves around the improbable hijinks Sharon Raydor and Gavin the (Fanboy?) Lawyer get up to throughout their secret bromance.
They are my new Kalinda and Will in that I want cracky, chillin' at the bar, being each others sometimes purposefully inept wingmen while talking circles around their uncharacteristic fixation on a certain woman fic. Although I picture them more restrained than K & W, with less Tequila. Possibly at a pretentious wine bar or some hole-in-the-wall jazz club.
EDIT: Oh my god, Silent Partner. This season truly is awesome.

I haven't posted here about my renewed interest in roller skating but I started skating in June after a decade or so off skates and now I made it into a roller derby league, though there's still bootcamp and another skills test before I make it onto a team. Unfortunately, I have two days left to come up with three choices for a derby name.
