Please forgive the intrusion on your time. I'm writing only because I've not seen a public post from you in almost a month now, and I wanted to tell you that I miss both the entries and the conversations that sometimes develop out of them.
I trust that you're well, and that you didn't take the recent remarks of Vice-President Cheney too much to heart. I hope you know that not eveyone shares his opinions of Russia and of you. Does it help if I tell you I never voted for him?
I've been following the Clearstream story in the press. It just seems like it's been one thing after another for Dominique and the French government for months now, going back to the riots last autumn. I wish he could have some good news for a change. He deserves it. Btw, I've also had no recent contact with him, but I've had the pleasure (?) of hearing from Pierre. Perhaps you and Dominique have been talking?
I must close now and go in to a meeting.
