Kyuhyun stared at Henry, who instantly ran after seeing them, with Zhoumi following suit, confusion also enveloped his thoughts.
He then turned to look at Sungmin. The older was gaping at the retreating backs of the two foreign exchange students, and his eyes were getting teary.
Kyuhyun need not to ask. He is not an idiot. Just by Henry’s and Sungmin’s actions, he already knew the meaning behind those.
“I didn’t know he was friends with you…” Sungmin broke the silence between them, a hint of sadness was caught by Kyuhyun from the latter’s soft voice.
“I didn’t know he was that dongsaeng,” Kyuhyun replied jokingly in an attempt to lighten up the atmosphere. He is actually proud of his sense of humor. And sure, his remark made Sungmin chuckle. Oh how he loves that smile of Sungmin’s.
The black-haired heavily sighed as he dug his hands in his pockets, his lips formed into a half-smile as he made small strides towards the entrance, “Great. First, Sungjin, and now Henry… The campus isn’t that big for me to avoid them.”
After hearing that, Kyuhyun firmly gripped his hyung’s arm and forced the guy to face him, not minding the look of utter perplexity on Sungmin’s face. In a low voice, Kyuhyun said, “You don’t have to avoid them, hyung,” Sungmin furrowed his eyebrows and bit his lips to stop himself from laughing; the tone the younger used made it look like his situation is a battle between life and death.
The brunet noticed it, unfortunately.
Pouting, Kyuhyun spoke, “I’m serious, hyung…”
The older blinked his fox-like eyes once before smiling widely as he playfully patted the younger’s head, “I know, I know. It’s just that… nah, it’s nothing. Thanks for the concern, Kyu. I know I won’t be able to avoid them, anyways.”
When his dongsaeng didn’t say a word and continued scowling at him, Sungmin sighed and placed a hand on Kyuhyun’s shoulder, “Okay. I will not avoid them. But no talking will happen…”
Kyuhyun parted his lips to complain, but Sungmin continued, “…for now. I… I still don’t know what to say to them… especially to Henry. I am not prepared for this. I know that there will come a time that I will face him, but I never expected it to happen this early.”
The taller pursed his lips before speaking in a soft tone, “I-It’s okay, hyung. You don’t have to force yourself. Sorry for meddling in…”
“Hey, you know what, Donghae called me last night… after you-know-what happened…” Sungmin suddenly changed their topic, the glow on his face now gradually getting back as he recalls his conversation with Donghae.
“Oh, what did he say?” Kyuhyun guessed that it’s about telling him the real deal between him and his brother. So, he kind of prepared himself for some drama again.
However…
“Donghae told me that I should sort out my feelings for you and give you a chance,” came Sungmin’s answer. To be honest, shock is an understatement for Kyuhyun right now. Who would have thought that Donghae would tell Sungmin such things?! Oh great.
And now, he prepares himself to get rejected… again.
“I thought, why not? You’ve been nice to me. You’ve helped me a lot. You helped me conquer some of my fears. You helped me change for the better. You never left me no matter how many times I tried rejecting you. I realized that…”
Kyuhyun doesn’t know how long he held his breath, feeling his heart stopped beating.
“…that I like you,” Boom. There goes Kyuhyun’s rationality. “I… never knew that all this time, that brotherly feeling I had towards you already stepped up to the next level…”
It was the first time Kyuhyun didn’t pay attention on how cute Sungmin is when blushing. It was the first time he ignored his wildly beating heart. It was the first time he never bothered getting conscious if he is blushing or not.
It was the first time he felt like flying in cloud nine.
All he could think of was that Sungmin just confessed to him. No one could explain what he feels right now. Even him, who is considered as a genius, cannot put into words how happy he is. Maybe he is not just happy… pleased… blissful… whatever you could call that… maybe more than those… maybe there is no word sufficient enough to describe it.

Instead of jumping and hugging Sungmin, Kyuhyun unconsciously asked the other in twinkling eyes, “Does that mean we’re now dating?”
Sungmin giggled at the younger’s cuteness. He then faced the taller, tiptoeing before pressing a quick kiss on Kyuhyun’s lips, laughing at the sight of Kyuhyun’s face reddening like a tomato.
In a teasing tone, he replied, “What do you think?”
Kyuhyun wasn’t still able to form his words when Sungmin already playfully ran towards the dormitory building.

Sungmin was humming a happy love song as he enters his room, raising an eyebrow when he saw Hyukjae slurping strawberry milk again. He would’ve found it normal, but judging by the number of empty cartons on the floor, he knew that something is bothering his roommate.
Being the brother he is to the guy, he sat in front of his friend and asked, “Is there anything wrong, Hyukkie?”
Still with the straw in his mouth, Hyukjae shook his head, making the black-haired sigh and massage his forehead; he is definitely sure that this is regarding Donghae. And with the way the red head is acting, the two’s problem right now is not just their simple cat fight.
Since he knew Hyukjae won’t tell him anything at first, Sungmin started a conversation. “Henry is here.”
This successfully made Hyukjae let go of his milk and place it on the desk, his usually small eyes turned wide in shock, “Here? As in here in the campus?”
Sungmin pursed his lips as he nodded, “Kyu happens to be acquainted with him, and he told me that Henry is a foreign exchange student just like that Zhoumi.”
He kind of expected that Hyukjae will snort.
“Ming, could you tell me what really your relationship with Kyuhyun is? You were with him all day, right?”
To Hyukjae’s shock, Sungmin smiled dreamily, “Uh… Kyu and I are together now.”
“What?” the red-haired hissed and narrowed his eyes. It was actually a surprise for Sungmin that Hyukjae didn’t shout at him.
“Kyuhyun is my boyfriend now.” The smaller proudly declared.
Normally, Hyukjae will oppose to this, for Sungmin broke his promise to himself. But looking at the different kind of light aura around his friend, he chose to just accept it and be happy for his brother.
“I will make sure to cut his balls if he hurts you.” He joked, and it earned him a playful slap on the arm from the older.
Hyukjae then shyly took Sungmin in his arms, whispering, “I wish he’s already the one for you…”
Sungmin smiled widely and hugged his friend back.

Siwon groaned at the feeling of someone lying beside him, and there he saw Donghae snuggling on his back like a lost kitten. Therefore, he shifted his position to face his crying roommate, instantly cupping the other’s cheek and used a thumb to wipe Donghae’s tears.
At that, Donghae sobbed louder and buried his face on the other’s neck, “I’m sorry for lying to you, Wonnie… I really am sorry…”
Siwon frowned. “You lied? When?”
“There is no Jessica in my life. It was a fake… imaginary.” Donghae confessed, eliciting that weird wide-eyed expression only Siwon can do.
“I-It was Kyuhyun’s idea, actually… I… I want to make H-Hyukjae… jealous… s-so, we dressed S-Sungmin up as a girl… and we pretended… to be l-lovers… in front of Hyukjae… That Jessica r-really is… Sungmin…” the smaller narrated in between sobs, with Siwon just tightening his hug on Donghae.
As he softly stroked the younger’s hair, he spoke in a hushed voice, “It’s okay… I understand… please don’t cry now…”
“That’s not just it…” the brunet pulled away to straightly look at Siwon in the eyes, “…I decided to let go of Hyukjae…”
Siwon should have felt happy for it; he has now bigger chances on Donghae, but he just can’t celebrate when he knew that the other is hurting. He doesn’t want to be selfish.
He just hugged the younger and waited until he falls asleep.

The next morning, Kyuhyun and Sungmin went to school together, with Hyukjae tagging along though he was feeling so alone and so disgusted at how the new couple act so sweet to each other. He knew that Sungmin was doing it on purpose, anyways.
It was a relief for Hyukjae when they finally reached their classroom. He hurriedly ran inside the room, regretting why he even decided on agreeing to walk with the two to school. He actually doesn’t know why he did that.
Kyuhyun and Sungmin stayed outside first, with the former holding both of the smaller’s soft hands. Sungmin chuckled a bit, blushing as he whined, “Kyu, you can let go now…”
Sungmin felt like drowning at Kyuhyun’s dashing smile. “Why, we still have thirty minutes before classes start. I am still trying to figure out if this is a dream or not because I still can’t believe that you already agreed to go out with me…”
The older scoffed as he playfully hit his boyfriend’s arm, earning merry laughter from the freshman while trying to stop him from hitting him.
“Hey,”
They heard a voice beside them, and saw it was Donghae, with Siwon waving a hand to them before entering the classroom. Sungmin shortly got worried due to the younger’s red eyes, but the brown-haired hugged them and spoke, “Congratulations!!! I’m glad you’re already together!”
“By the way, Kyu, Changmin’s looking for you.” Donghae informed the taller guy, who just frowned, mumbling a ‘See you later’ before walking away.
“I envy you so much, Min.” Donghae instantly said the moment Kyuhyun was out of sight. Sungmin pursed his lips as he stroked the younger’s hair, “What did Hyuk do again?”
The brunet sarcastically chuckled as he leaned on the wall beside his friend, “He is still being an asshole,” he paused for a while, deliberating if he should inform Sungmin since he looked clueless, but then decided to go on. “I told him I give up on him.”
The black-haired doesn’t need for Donghae to repeat it. He already got the point. He kind of had a hunch that it was the reason why Hyukjae was acting weird last night.
“Hyuk’s really a jerk.”
He only got a short chortle from the other.
However, there is something that Sungmin noticed. “Won’t you just use Siwon as a substitute?”
Donghae sighed, “He is willing, Min,”
“But you will also hurt him just the way Hyukkie hurt you.”
“I didn’t say that Siwon is already my boyfriend. I just gave him a chance.”
Sungmin tilted his body to face the younger and held his hand, “Don’t make him hope for nothing.”
But the other remained immobile, “I’m not. At least, I like Siwon.”
Sungmin could just sigh. He knows that no matter how hard he will try on telling Donghae that this will hurt Siwon and him, the guy will not listen to him. Donghae is the most stubborn person he ever met.
They were about to go inside the classroom, but the sight of two familiar boys walking towards their direction stopped them on their tracks.
It was Sungjin and Henry.
Donghae gasped as he raised a hand to point a finger at Henry, “Hey, that’s-”
“Let’s take a shortcut.”
Even before Donghae could finish his sentence, Sungjin already pulled Henry to a different direction.
Then, Sungmin shortly met gazes with Henry because the latter was still looking at the black-haired Korean.

The loud music blasting on his ears made him uncomfortable. Yes, he is a dancer and he is used to volumes as loud as this. He is definitely not in the mood to go to a bar right now. But no one could just say no to a demanding Kim Heechul.
It was an awkward moment for him. He was sitting alone on a table because the others were on the dancing floor, while on the table beside him, there sat Donghae and Siwon, talking to each other so closely for they can’t hear each other.
“You don’t want to dance?” Sungmin suddenly asked him as he grabbed a glass of juice, but didn’t take a seat.
“Don’t feel like it. Hey, why are you here? Does Kyuhyun know this?” he shouted. As what was mentioned before, they can’t hear each other if they talk normally because of the music.
Sungmin laughed and shouted back, “Of course he does. He’s actually fine with it as long as I won’t drink too much.”
“Lucky bitch.” Hyukjae mumbled before gulping his strawberry juice.
“If I were you, I would find myself a lover so that I won’t get envious.” Sungmin teased his friend, making the other throw a shoe at him.
“Too bad I am not you,” he replied in full sarcasm on his voice.
After Sungmin went back to the center while laughing hysterically, Hyukjae’s gaze landed on Donghae and Siwon, who were still whispering God-only-knows-what to each other. Was it longing for his best friend? Or was it jealousy? He isn’t sure.
Unconsciously, he made his way in front of Donghae, making the other two look at him with confused expressions.
“Donghae-ah, can I talk to you?”
Donghae first looked at Siwon, who just nodded and told him to come with the guy, before standing up and followed where Hyukjae went to.
They reached the outside of the bar where there is no loud music that could interfere with their conversation. At least they don’t have to shout at each other.
“What now?” Donghae coldly asked, the expression on his face made Hyukjae think that he is talking to a different person.
“I… I just… want… to say… s-sorry…”
The other didn’t say anything.
“I am sorry for what I did.” Hyukjae managed to firmly and sincerely say as he looked straight into the guy’s eyes.
“Fine. But I can’t promise you that things between us will easily go back to normal.” Donghae said before going back inside the noisy place.
Herro~ hehehe~ so, yeah, KyuMin is together now... and the next chapters will probably revolve around EunHae more... though there's still bits of KyuMin because of Henry's arrival ^^

Unconsciously, he made his way in front of Donghae, making the other two look at him with confused expressions.
“Donghae-ah, can I talk to you?”
Donghae first looked at Siwon, who just nodded and told him to come with the guy, before standing up and followed where Hyukjae went to.
They reached the outside of the bar where there is no loud music that could interfere with their conversation. At least they don’t have to shout at each other.
“What now?” Donghae coldly asked, the expression on his face made Hyukjae think that he is talking to a different person.
“I… I just… want… to say… s-sorry…”
The other didn’t say anything.
“I am sorry for what I did.” Hyukjae managed to firmly and sincerely say as he looked straight into the guy’s eyes.
“Fine. But I can’t promise you that things between us will easily go back to normal.” Donghae said before going back inside the noisy place.
Herro~ hehehe~ so, yeah, KyuMin is together now... and the next chapters will probably revolve around EunHae more... though there's still bits of KyuMin because of Henry's arrival ^^
