“If it’s the only way to fix your eyes on me…”
Sungmin jerked from the bed as he heard the main door to their condominium open, instantly running to the mirror to check if he looks fine. He quickly went to the closet and opened it, pretending to find something inside it, his heart jumping as high as Mt. Everest when the door to their bedroom creaked.
“Min?” He twisted his body and faced his boyfriend with an innocent expression, controlling a smirk at the sight of Kyuhyun looking at his half-naked body rather in a sticky manner. Yes, he is only covered by a towel around his waist. He did it on purpose, by the way.
When Kyuhyun walked towards him, he already prepared himself for what will happen next - knowing his lover. However, he wasn’t prepared at all in what Kyuhyun did instead; the taller guy just grabbed a shirt from inside their closet and went to the bed to place it there for now before taking off his own and replacing it with the one he got.
It was the first time Kyuhyun ignored a half-naked Sungmin in their entire one-year relationship living under the same roof. Besides, even before they decided to elope after their graduation, Kyuhyun would always lust over him and push him to a surface nearest them.
But that didn’t happen right now.
He just sadly watched his lover getting dressed up. At first, he thought that the other is already getting ready to take some rest, but seeing Kyuhyun’s get-up, he knew that Kyuhyun had other plans for tonight. And that does not include him.
“A-Are you going somewhere?” he asked softly; he can’t fully trust his voice.
“Out with the guys,” Kyuhyun answered while he makes his way to the mirror, checking his appearance just like what his boyfriend did a while ago. The only difference is that Kyuhyun is fully-clothed, while Sungmin is half.
His Kyu-line again. Sungmin urged himself to stop from rolling his eyes. ‘Kyu-line’ or so Kyuhyun calls them, are Kyuhyun’s closest friends since high school. He met them earlier than Sungmin, so the latter doesn’t have the right to complain whenever Kyuhyun chooses them over him. However, Sungmin noticed that Kyuhyun had been hanging out with them than with him recently. What is he, just a caretaker of their place?! A housewife?! Kyuhyun doesn’t even want him working! He worked, anyways.
After that, he never said anything. He just remained standing on his position when Kyuhyun kissed his forehead and bid goodbye, not listening to other things his live-in partner said before leaving.
A tear was about to escape when his phone rang, lazily answering it, “Yes, hello?”
“Minnie-hyung?”
His mood brightened after hearing that cheerful voice of Donghae - he just met this guy days ago, but he was already comfortable around the younger. “Oh. Hi, Hae. What’s up?”
“Can I visit you in your condominium?” judging from the voice of the other, Donghae must have been bouncing while asking that.
“Sure.” It’s not like he will be cheating on Kyuhyun, right?

Kyuhyun yawned as he entered the condo, finding it weird that the place is quiet - Sungmin is usually watching TV while waiting for him. Things went weirder for him when he saw an unknown guy comfortably sleeping on their couch, snoring softly.
He was about to kick the stranger out of the house and look for his boyfriend, but Sungmin emerged from their bedroom with a blanket on his arms.
“Kyu?” Sungmin asked innocently. Kyuhyun accusingly pointed his index finger at the brunet, his pitch rising creepily, “Who is this?” The smaller shook his head as he walked towards the couch, muttering lowly while placing the cloth on Donghae’s body, “He is Donghae. You were too busy with some other things to know who my new friends are.”
The tone Sungmin used made Kyuhyun slightly cringe; his cute boyfriend was never like that. But he chose to ignore it. Sungmin will be back to normal tomorrow when they wake up. He trusts Sungmin, but, who is that guy? Why hasn’t he seen him before?
He shrugged it off and decided to go to their bedroom and change. Of course, Sungmin would not cheat when he is just a wall away, would he? Sungmin is not like that. That Dong-something is just a new friend of his - so as what he said.

Sungmin just finished cleaning up his and Donghae’s mess - it’s not what you think about - on the living room, and was about to head to the bedroom when his phone rang again, frowning at the caller ID since that person rarely calls him.

It was a usual peaceful Saturday morning for Kyuhyun, meaning, he doesn’t have to go to work today. However, the ‘usual’ thing for him suddenly changed; when he reached for the other side of the bed, he felt no small figure snuggling on his neck. The space was empty. He opened his eyes and saw no one beside him. Well, he usually wakes up earlier than Sungmin.
But then, as he went out of the room, he heard laughter from the kitchen, and it belongs to Sungmin and his friend. Gee, that guy isn’t still going home?!
It was actually that stranger who first noticed his presence. The good-looking guy - yes, Kyuhyun can’t deny that fact - stood up and stopped eating the banana in his hand to cheekily greet him, “Oh, good morning, Kyuhyun-ssi!” He is kind of childish too…
He just gave him a slight bow to tell the guy that he doesn’t know him, and the other got it, “Oops. Sorry for the rudeness. I’m Donghae. Lee Donghae!”
Then, Sungmin placed a plate full of hotdogs on the center of the table while saying, “I told you his name last night, right?” Kyuhyun took a seat across their guest, shrugging. As he reached for the coffee Sungmin made for him, he felt stares from someone, so he snapped his head up and met with Donghae’s gaze, earning a bright childish grin from their guest.
Somehow, Kyuhyun saw Sungmin in Donghae. Or perhaps it was just his illusion?
“By the way, Kyu, Heechul-hyung asked us if we could go to Hannie-hyung’s restaurant for lunch. Are you coming?” Sungmin interrupted as he sat beside Donghae, making his boyfriend frown; the older ALWAYS sits beside him.
Being the jealous Kyu he is, he was about to say that he’s not in the mood to go out today since it is Saturday, but Donghae butted in, all giddy and bouncing on his seat, “Minnie-hyungie, can I go? Can I? Can I?”
Minnie-hyungie? What the fuck. Kyuhyun controlled himself from rolling his eyes because their guest is just doing aegyo on the aegyo king. Sungmin is cuter than you!!! That won’t have any effect on him!
To Kyuhyun’s shock, Sungmin giggled and nodded as he pinched the brunet’s cheek, laughing inaudibly when Donghae clapped his hands and hugged him and shouted a thank you. Great, someone is trying to flirt with Sungmin IN FRONT OF HIM. That is just great. But why is Sungmin not resisting?
He has to do something. Sungmin is only HIS.
Sungmin and Donghae stopped chatting when Kyuhyun suddenly said, “Sure. I’m coming. Haven’t seen the hyungs for weeks now, anyways.”
Sungmin first glanced at Donghae before smiling at his lover.

Heechul suddenly burst laughing hard at Shindong’s story regarding Eunhyuk falling off the escalator on the mall, making the people in the restaurant look at their table. Leeteuk rolled his eyes and shoved a dumpling on the red head’s mouth, while hissing an “It’s a good thing Eunhyukkie is not yet here,” successfully muting the guy.
They were all laughing at that time when a tall muscular guy entered the restaurant and called Sungmin, his thick eyebrows raising at a weird way. Recognizing the man, Sungmin stood up and rushed to the newcomer with a warm welcoming smile.
Kyuhyun, who still had his arm on top of Sungmin’s chair, is now throwing deathly glares to the two, his frown deepening when the tall guy patted HIS Sungmin’s head. Much to his irritation, Sungmin just chuckled and playfully hit his friend’s arm. Heechul also added to his annoyance; the older is evilly snickering beside him.
The moment Sungmin went back to his seat - his friend sat on a table far away from them - Kyuhyun asked in a low voice, “Who is that?” He resisted the urge to roll his eyes at Heechul’s snort.
His boyfriend innocently looked at him, slightly tilting his head, “Who, Siwon? He is a customer at the café where I am working… and he is also a model. Don’t you know that?”
At that, the younger’s eyebrows furrowed, “No, and I don’t care even if he is an actor. But do you have to be that close to him?” He wasn’t aware that he completely sounded so jealous that their friends cooed and teased him, “Aww~ Kyuhyunnie is jealoussss~~~” they earned a scowl from their maknae.
Sungmin bit his lips before giggling. He then leaned on his lover’s shoulder and hugged the latter’s waist, saying in his usual baby voice, “Sorry, baby~ Siwonnie is a regular customer, that’s why I got close to him~”
Kyuhyun blinked his eyes before diverting his gaze from his cute boyfriend and just settled on glaring on Heechul.
He thought that they’re back to normal… That nothing won’t ruin his day with Sungmin… However, there is one problem named Lee Donghae who came all bouncy with their friend, Eunhyuk. And what pissed Kyuhyun more is that, that problem actually HUGGED Sungmin first IN FRONT OF HIM.
It really was fine when it was Eunhyuk or Heechul who were flirting with Sungmin since he knew that those were all just jokes, but he doesn’t exactly know why he was feeling too bothered when Donghae is around. Maybe it’s because he just met the guy, so he doesn’t completely trust the other.
Judging by the actions of Donghae, he concluded that the other is attracted to his boyfriend.
Their friends, including Sungmin, gaped at him with a confused expression when he suddenly stood up. He stared at Donghae and Sungmin for seconds first before pulling the latter out of the restaurant, leaving the others dumbfounded.
He didn’t see their knowing grins, though.

“Kyu~” Sungmin whined to his lover as he lets himself get dragged by the younger towards their car, but he got no answer from his enraged boyfriend.
The only time Kyuhyun answered him was when they finally settled in the vehicle. “Minimi, let’s go on a date?” Sungmin snapped his head to his lover, his doe eyes sparkling. Biting his lips to prevent squealing, he vigorously nodded, making the younger chuckling.

Sungmin was busy choosing for a perfume when Kyuhyun’s phone rang. He instantly knew that it was one of his Kyu-line, so he just tried not listening; he is afraid to hear Kyuhyun choose them over him again.
Still, his hearing defied him.
“Chang?”
Kyu, let’s go out! That’s what he guessed Changmin said.
“Now?”
Oh no. He is right. Changmin and the guys are really asking him out.
He is now preparing himself to go home alone. He is already making up the words he’ll reply to the other when Kyuhyun will tell him that he’ll hang out with his friends and that he is sorry blah, blah, blah. He knows; Kyuhyun always choose his Kyu-line over him.
“Sorry, Chang. I’m with Sungmin right now,” came Kyuhyun’s reply to the person on the other line.
Is he hearing it wrong? Kyuhyun just denied Changmin’s invitation because of him?! What did Kyuhyun eat? But then, he remembered something…
Quickly, he fished his phone from his pocket and typed something, instantly hiding it again the moment Kyuhyun ended his phone conversation with his best friend.
“You done choosing?” Kyuhyun asked, smiling brightly as he draped an arm on Sungmin’s neck. The smaller shook his head whilst he leaned on his lover’s shoulder, having his head down to hide his blush and grin.

Sungmin looked at his boyfriend, confused, for the younger stopped driving and parked the red convertible near Han River. No words were exchanged as Kyuhyun went outside, with Sungmin automatically following suit.
Both leaned on the front part of the automobile, and there they recall the events for this fun day. Sungmin can’t be any happier, to be honest. He badly misses Kyuhyun since the guy is always busy on his work and hanging out with his friends. The only time they spend with each other was when they have breakfast and dinner at their condominium.
For months, this was the first time they went on a date outside of their house. Sungmin thought he was going to give up on their relationship even though he loves the guy so much, but then, this happened. He just hopes that his lover will remain like this forever.
“Minimi?”
Sungmin was snapped from his thoughts as he heard his boyfriend call his nickname - well, only Kyuhyun calls him that. It was sweet of him, actually.
“Yes, Kyu?”
Then, Kyuhyun raised his left arm, twisted it slightly to show the older his digital wrist watch which reads 12:00am. With a loving smile, Kyuhyun said, “Happy anniversary, babe.”
And that’s when Sungmin realized; it was indeed July 13 right now. It is their anniversary. They are officially together for five years now.
Tears pooling around his eyes, Sungmin jumped on Kyuhyun and hugged him tight, sobbing a “Happy anniversary too, baby!!!”
Kyuhyun chuckled as he pulled the crying Sungmin away, his thumbs making their way to his lover’s cheeks to wipe those drops of salty water coming out from Sungmin’s beautiful eyes, “Don’t cry yet, baby. I still have something to ask you…”
After sniffing, the older wiped his tears and asked, “What is it?”
To Sungmin’s surprise, Kyuhyun gently pushed him to the car, made him sit on it, and kneeled on the ground while gripping his hand.
Sungmin felt his world and heartbeat stop as he watched Kyuhyun dip his hand on his pocket, and then brought a small dark blue box out from it.
For Sungmin, time went in slow motion when Kyuhyun started opening the box, disobedient tears falling from his eyes once again at the sight of a beautiful, shining diamond ring on the box.
Their eyes met, passion and love reflected on each other’s teary orbs, as Kyuhyun said the magic words: “Lee Sungmin, will you marry me?”
Sungmin nodded while he encaged his lover, no, fiancé in his arms, shouting for the whole world to hear the words: “Yes, Cho Kyuhyun, I will marry you!!!”
July 13 really is the most unforgettable day for the couple.

On the other hand, two hours after Kyuhyun and Sungmin went out of the restaurant, Heechul received a text message from someone, laughing his heart out after reading the message, earning questioning looks from their friends.
So, he threw his phone to Donghae, with Eunhyuk, Leeteuk, Hangeng and Shindong peeking to look at the screen of the phone.

“Sorry, Chang. I’m with Sungmin right now,” came Kyuhyun’s reply to the person on the other line.
Is he hearing it wrong? Kyuhyun just denied Changmin’s invitation because of him?! What did Kyuhyun eat? But then, he remembered something…
Quickly, he fished his phone from his pocket and typed something, instantly hiding it again the moment Kyuhyun ended his phone conversation with his best friend.
“You done choosing?” Kyuhyun asked, smiling brightly as he draped an arm on Sungmin’s neck. The smaller shook his head whilst he leaned on his lover’s shoulder, having his head down to hide his blush and grin.

Sungmin looked at his boyfriend, confused, for the younger stopped driving and parked the red convertible near Han River. No words were exchanged as Kyuhyun went outside, with Sungmin automatically following suit.
Both leaned on the front part of the automobile, and there they recall the events for this fun day. Sungmin can’t be any happier, to be honest. He badly misses Kyuhyun since the guy is always busy on his work and hanging out with his friends. The only time they spend with each other was when they have breakfast and dinner at their condominium.
For months, this was the first time they went on a date outside of their house. Sungmin thought he was going to give up on their relationship even though he loves the guy so much, but then, this happened. He just hopes that his lover will remain like this forever.
“Minimi?”
Sungmin was snapped from his thoughts as he heard his boyfriend call his nickname - well, only Kyuhyun calls him that. It was sweet of him, actually.
“Yes, Kyu?”
Then, Kyuhyun raised his left arm, twisted it slightly to show the older his digital wrist watch which reads 12:00am. With a loving smile, Kyuhyun said, “Happy anniversary, babe.”
And that’s when Sungmin realized; it was indeed July 13 right now. It is their anniversary. They are officially together for five years now.
Tears pooling around his eyes, Sungmin jumped on Kyuhyun and hugged him tight, sobbing a “Happy anniversary too, baby!!!”
Kyuhyun chuckled as he pulled the crying Sungmin away, his thumbs making their way to his lover’s cheeks to wipe those drops of salty water coming out from Sungmin’s beautiful eyes, “Don’t cry yet, baby. I still have something to ask you…”
After sniffing, the older wiped his tears and asked, “What is it?”
To Sungmin’s surprise, Kyuhyun gently pushed him to the car, made him sit on it, and kneeled on the ground while gripping his hand.
Sungmin felt his world and heartbeat stop as he watched Kyuhyun dip his hand on his pocket, and then brought a small dark blue box out from it.
For Sungmin, time went in slow motion when Kyuhyun started opening the box, disobedient tears falling from his eyes once again at the sight of a beautiful, shining diamond ring on the box.
Their eyes met, passion and love reflected on each other’s teary orbs, as Kyuhyun said the magic words: “Lee Sungmin, will you marry me?”
Sungmin nodded while he encaged his lover, no, fiancé in his arms, shouting for the whole world to hear the words: “Yes, Cho Kyuhyun, I will marry you!!!”
July 13 really is the most unforgettable day for the couple.

On the other hand, two hours after Kyuhyun and Sungmin went out of the restaurant, Heechul received a text message from someone, laughing his heart out after reading the message, earning questioning looks from their friends.
So, he threw his phone to Donghae, with Eunhyuk, Leeteuk, Hangeng and Shindong peeking to look at the screen of the phone.

Even before they pull off an amused facial expression, Heechul spoke confidently, “Donghae-ah, do you know that Kyuhyun will ask your long lost brother to marriage when the clock strikes at twelve?”
The boys beamed, except for Leeteuk, who asked Heechul, “How did you know? I’m sure Kyuhyun won’t tell you that.”
Heechul smirked as he crossed his legs, “Changmin told me. Oh that sneaky devil.”
