Where I got conned into staying a bit late at work. It wouldn't be so bad if I got overtime, but I'm okay with sneaking out early on Friday.

Also it was apparently one of those days where my brain-filter wasn't in place. I, uh, may have mimed fellatio at one of my coworkers, but only because there was a banana involved.

I am so glad it's Friday. :D I don't have any exciting plans or anything, I'm just glad to be home, even though I have to wash towels and hang them to dry before I can take a shower.

So, whilst I was walking into the cafeteria this morning after caving and deciding to get scrambly eggs, the cashier asked one of the doctors, "What's up?" The immediate response was, "C. diff!" It was actually pretty hilarious, and thankfully I didn't burst into loud madwoman cackling.

It's too hot to do anything outside for the rest of time. I'm not supposed to be short of breath after taking a three-minute walk outside, and the heat index isn't supposed to be ridiculous, like Monday, when it felt like 126° according to the weather channel. Sooo, I worked on the fourth and it was surprisingly chill. I think it really helped that I worked day shift, since fireworks come out much later. I had to train one of the new ladies on how to do ER things, which wasn't terrible, and in the huge amount of downtime that we had, she spent talking about her son who lives in Japan.
