long time, no entries
just a quick update, I'm posting from my nook
there were super mega awful storms yesterday, but me and the hubby are fine, as is our neighborhood. there just isn't any power, and we are not big on emergency preparedness...
we only have like, four wimpy candles and zero flashlights, so we're pretending it's a zombie apacolypse. also there are sad groceries, but that just means we won't have a ton of spoiled fridge-things, so that's good.
I've spoken with my mom and sister, and they're fine, as are my nieces (I've got two, but that's a story for another time). I just can't getin touch with my grandma, but I'm guessing she's with my aunt and the phones aren't working because of the power issues, which I'm not looking forward to since I like to smell good.
